About The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Explainer Video Specialist to join our growing team of Collaborative Partners. You would be responsible for the entire explainer video creation process, from concept development to final production. Translate complex ideas into clear, concise, and visually engaging videos that captivate viewers and achieve our communication goals that attract candidates to join the Peace Evolution team. And increase our messaging via videos that attract readers to evolving inner peace with humanity.
Responsibilities
- Concept Development: Collaborate with internal teams (brand, marketing, messaging, content) to understand video objectives and brainstorm creative concepts.
- Scriptwriting & Storyboarding: Develop compelling scripts that effectively explain complex topics engagingly. Create storyboards to visualize the messaging.
- Animation & Motion Graphics: Utilize animation and motion graphics software. For instance, After Effects, bringing the explainer videos to life.
- Live-Action Filming, where needed: As applicable, film high-quality live-action footage that complements animation or motion graphics.
- Video Editing: Edit video footage and integrate motion graphics, sound effects, and music creating polished videos.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all explainer videos meet the high standards for quality, clarity, brand, and messaging consistency.
- Staying Current: Keep abreast of the latest explainer video trends and best practices to elevate video content. And spice up content with your innovation and creativity.
Qualifications
- With 4+ years of experience in video production, animation, motion graphics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of storytelling principles and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear messaging.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in video editing software. For instance, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro.
- A keen eye for design and visual aesthetics. Experience with animation and motion graphics software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously according to our content calendar.
- Passion for explainer video creation.
- Proficiency in Scrum and Sprint principles is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously, independently, and as part of a vibrant and like-minded team of Collaborative Partners.
