About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Remote Team Leader to play a pivotal role in the success of our growing team. As a Remote Team Leader, you are responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to a team of talented Collaborative Partners working remotely. You would foster a confident, collaborative, multi-functional, self-managing, and results-oriented environment, ensuring clear communication and openness.
Responsibilities
- Lead & Guide: Provide strategic direction, to optimize team deliverables.
- Foster Collaboration: Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive virtual work environment where team members are supported and connected.
- Communication Champion: Be an expert communicator, adept at facilitating open dialogue, and fostering commitment within the remote team.
- Retrospective Champion: Illicit constructive feedback, and coach team members for openness.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate and troubleshoot obstacles faced by the remote team, and guide solutions to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Remote Work Advocate: Be a champion for remote work best practices, fostering a culture of transparency, autonomy, accountability, responsibility, and an understanding of self-managing within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading and managing high-performing and remote teams (minimum 4 years)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and respect virtually
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and remote collaboration platforms
- A passion for building and nurturing an inclusive remote team culture
- An understanding of Scrum, Sprint, and Jira a plus
- Ability to deliver multiple products simultaneously
