About The Role
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven YouTube Product Manager to lead the mission of creating and optimizing engaging and discoverable video content. You would be the owner of our YouTube channel's success, driving viewer and subscriber growth, maximizing engagement, and achieving our business goals. And achieve our discoverability goals that attract candidates to join the Peace Evolution team. And increase our messaging via videos that attract readers to evolving inner peace with humanity.
Responsibilities
- Develop & Own Our YouTube Content Strategy: Define the vision and roadmap for our YouTube channel, aligning it with overall marketing, messaging, and business objectives.
- Audience Research & Insights: Conduct in-depth audience research to understand viewer preferences, trends, our messaging, and competitor analysis.
- Content Ideation & Planning: Collaborate with Collaborative Partner creative teams to brainstorm engaging video concepts that resonate with our target audience.
- Content Prioritization & Optimization: Prioritize video ideas based on data insights and potential impact, ensuring optimal content blend, audience engagement, and retention.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization: Analyze YouTube channel performance metrics, via dashboards and reports. For instance, views, engagement, subscriptions, and retention, identifying areas for improvement, and strategies.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data and analytic insights to inform content decisions, and optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep up-to-date with the latest YouTube trends, algorithms, and best practices to maintain engagement. And spice up content with your innovation and creativity.
- Collaboration & Communication: Foster collaboration across brand, marketing, messaging, production, and analytics Collaborative Partner teams to ensure seamless content creation and execution.
Qualifications
- With 4+ years of experience in YouTube channel management, and content strategy.
- Proven track record of growing a YouTube channel, increasing viewership, retention, and driving engagement.
- Strong understanding of YouTube analytics and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience with keyword research, SEO best practices, and video optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional Collaborative Partner teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously according to our content calendar.
- A passion for video content creation and a strong understanding of current YouTube trends.
- Highly analytical with a data-driven approach via metrics from dashboards and reports for decision-making.
- Proficiency in Scrum and Sprint principles is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously, independently, and as part of a vibrant and like-minded team of Collaborative Partners.
